Inward air is drawn through low-level grilles beneath the working area, creating a controlled flow that rises through the internal space. The air is then HEPA-filtered and safely discharged, either by recirculating back into the room or via connection to a building extract system.

CLASS 2 ENCLOSURE AIRFLOW
Inward air is drawn through low-level grilles beneath the working area and travels upwards through a concealed plenum. It is then HEPA-filtered and directed downward as a controlled laminar flow over the internal workspace. The air is subsequently captured beneath the working area, where it mixes with incoming air before re-entering the plenum. Approximately 70% of the air is recirculated as downflow, while the remaining 30% is HEPA-filtered and discharged either back into the room or via connection to a building extract system.
