The BioMAT 2 Robotic Enclosure concept is designed to house large automated robotic workstations.

Contained Air Solutions (CAS) robotic enclosures wrap around large automated workstations and provide operator and product protection. The design and manufacture of these enclosures is based on the general requirements of EN 12469:2000.

  • Designed to house large-scale automated systems
  • Large downflow HEPA filters in ceiling of the enclosure provide complete laminar downflow over the internal equipment
  • Compact design to fit low-height rooms
  • Allows access to three sides of the internal workstation
  • Removable access doors and side panels allow for easy removal / installation of large equipment
  • Operator protection through all access doors
  • Access doors can be fitted with proximity switches provided by the robotic equipment manufacturer to allow the stopping of robotic equipment when any access doors are open
  • Emergency stop buttons can be provided to integrate with the robotic equipment in order to stop the robotic process
  • Internal LED lighting
  • Internal power provided to robotic equipment
  • Cable and tubing entry systems
  • Simple-to-use integrated positive touch display with a fully animated 10” colour TFT screen
  • Recirculation, thimble or exhaust models available
