Class 1 Microbiological Safety Cabinets

Class 1 Microbiological Safety Cabinets provide operator protection by means of a constant air inflow through the open front working aperture which prevents escape of airborne particulate contamination from the cabinet.

Extract air is HEPA filtered through the class 1 cabinet before leaving the cabinet via a single HEPA filter for exhaust models or double HEPA filters for recirculating type cabinets.

• Main body manufactured in mild steel with white polyester finish RAL 9016
• Hinged downward fully opening front-visor with 5mm toughened glass panel.
• Uninterrupted access to class 1 safety cabinet interior for ease of cleaning.

• Single membrane facia control panel.
• Diagnostic airflow display.
• Inclined working angle for improved working position.
• Larger models available for specialised applications.
• Available in either exhaust or recirculating models with three standard widths.
• Thimble exhaust solutions also available.
• Unique TriPASS Constant exhaust module available for Class 1 cabinets situated within containment laboratories.  These offer constant extract volume irrespective of cabinet state maintaining negative room pressures whether cabinets are On, Off or being fumigated.
• Standard compliance to EN 12469:2000 and BS 5726:1992.
